 As son of an Australian television legend, PJ Lane needs no introduction. He is the latest star to be added to the cast of Woolworths Carols in the Domain, Australia's largest free public event, which will be held this year on Saturday 19 December.

"I've always been impressed by the calibre of the talent at Woolworths Carols in the Domain," said PJ. "It's a great opportunity to share the stage with names like Engelbert Humperdinck, Katherine Jenkins and Leo Sayer," he added.

"I'm sure that PJ will bring something very special to this year's show," said Woolworths Carols in the Domain Co-Executive Producer, Shauna Kane.

"He is part of a cherished Australian entertainment legacy and I am sure our audiences will connect with his enthusiasm and energy," she added.

PJ will join international superstar Engelbert Humperdinck, UK soprano Katherine Jenkins, Australian Idol winner Stan Walker, Leo Sayer, Kate Ceberano, Georgie Parker, Adam Brand, The McClymonts, Kasey Chambers, Home and Away's Rebecca Breeds, Australia's Got Talent winner Mark Vincent, the cast of Wicked the Musical, Justine Clarke and The Wiggles.

Woolworths Carols in the Domain is hosted by Grant Denyer and Kate Ritchie.

Woolworths Carols in the Domain is broadcast live on the Seven Network from 8:30pm and simulcast on MIX 106.5 in Sydney. Print media partner The Sun Herald will print the official Woolworths Carols in the Domain songbook in their edition on Sunday 13 December.

Attendance of the live event at Sydney's Domain is free and provides all the family with festive entertainment. Pre-show children's entertainment begins at the Domain at 3pm. Arriving early is recommended to secure a good position.
